Windows 10 Performance on the Surface Pro 3

Install Windows Updates. Keep doing this!

Adjust for performance. Performance Options > Visual Effects > Adjust for best performance.

Adjust Virtual Memory. Performance Options > Advanced > Virtual Memory > Change > Custom size > set to the “Recommended” value. For me that is 1396 MB for both the initial and the maximum size. This had a very good impact!
