Welcome to Shaun Luttin's public notebook. It contains rough, practical notes. The guiding idea is that, despite what marketing tells us, there are no experts at anything. Sharing our half-baked ideas helps everyone. We're all just muddling thru. Find out more about our work at bigfont.ca.

Control the Firefox Browser Width using the Command Line

I love this! It's so helpful.

  • Turn on the Developer Toolbar (SHIFT + F2)
  • Type help resize to view the available commands.

Example

resize on
resize to 320 480
resize to 500 500

That's the idea. No need for a mouse! And, we can know precisely when responsive events occur (e.g. bootstrap's collapse.)
